The missing father of five, 28-year-old Jermaine Fairley, was last seen Saturday
A Detroit family is desperately searching for the whereabouts of their loved one after he was last seen following a shooting that occurred on the city’s west side on Saturday.
The missing father of five, Jermaine Fairley, 28, was last seen Saturday, according to his family. His mother, Tamika Fairley, told police that she received a call at 2:30 p.m. Saturday regarding her son’s disappearance.
She arrived at the scene of the shooting and found “a pile of blood” and more blood “going up the side of [a nearby] house,” she told Local 4 WDIV Detroit .
Tamika said she believed the blood belonged to her son, even though there was no sign of him. His car was also found burning near an abandoned building five miles away.
Tamika told the outlet that Jermaine, who lived down the street from where he is believed to have been shot, was hanging out at a house with friends before he went missing. She said his friends were not talking to the police or giving any indication of what happened to Jermaine.
