Detroit police looking for two suspects after bar altercation spills outside, leads to shooting, stabbing

DETROIT (WWJ) — The search is on for a pair of suspects in a shooting and stabbing outside a Detroit bar that left two people injured.

It happened around 1:30 a.m. on Jan. 14 outside of a bar on Grand River Avenue near Evergreen Road, according to Detroit police.

An altercation started inside the bar, which was not identified, and spilled outside, according to police.

Officials say one suspect fired shots, hitting an 18-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man. At the same time as the suspect was firing shots, another suspect stabbed a 29-year-old man.

All three victims were taken to be treated at the hospital and have since been released.

Officials did not provide a description of the suspects, but released photos of two men believed to be responsible who were seen on surveillance camera outside the bar.
