Man in his 40s found dead after being stabbed multiple times in Detroit; Suspect taken into custody

DETROIT (WWJ) — A man has been arrested for allegedly stabbing a man to death on Detroit’s east side Wednesday morning.

Officers were called to the area of Mack and Beaconsfield, near the Detroit-Grosse Pointe Park border, shortly before 10 a.m. Wednesday.

A man in his 40s was found unresponsive with multiple stab wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

While police haven’t released any information about a possible motive in the case, a man in his 50s was arrested.

Authorities did not say whether the suspect and victim knew each other.
