Perfecting Church Project to resume
Construction on Perfecting Church located on Woodward Avenue and Seven Mile in Detroit will soon resume and is slated for completion in March 2026.
Last month, City Council approved a rezoning request for the church for several improvements to the project that has been under construction for 20 years, writes Dana Afana. In completing the church, the plan is to redevelop four acres of adjacent land for more than 600 surface parking spots, move offices into the church, build a chapel, school, coffee shop, bookstore and outdoor amphitheater.
