Mega Millions ticket sold in Farmington Hills wins $5 million

A Mega Millions ticket sold in Farmington Hills won $5 million in Tuesday’s drawing .

The ticket matched the five white balls — 1, 6, 10, 23 and 27 — and had the Megaplier option, which was 5x.

The ticket was sold at Chillbox Convenience Store #20 located at 29801 W. 9 Mile Road, according to the Michigan Lottery .

It was one of several big winners in the drawing. Single tickets in Louisiana, Missouri, New York, Pennsylvania and Tennessee and two tickets in Virginia matched the five white balls to win $1 million .

The next Mega Millions drawing is Friday, Sept. 27. Drawings are held at 11 p.m. every Tuesday and Friday. The jackpot is currently estimated at $77 million ($38.2 million cash option.)
