Detroit man accused of harassing elderly woman on bus, using flare gun to shoot man who stepped in to defend her

DETROIT (WWJ) — A Detroit man is facing charges for allegedly using a flare gun to shoot another man in the face following a dispute on a bus.

Daryl Tasmin Smith, 42, was arraigned Monday on multiple charges, including attempted murder, stemming from an incident last Thursday afternoon near the campus of Wayne State University.
