Detroit Police Seize Over $10,000 in Drugs, Arrests Made in West Side Narcotics Bust

In a sizable crackdown on narcotics in Detroit, local law enforcement undertook a major operation resulting in seizures and a series of arrests. ClickOnDetroit reported that officers executed two search warrants last Wednesday on the city’s west side—specifically on Yosemite and Homur streets. This initiative led to the confiscation of an assortment of drugs, which included marijuana, fentanyl, cocaine, and various pills, collectively valued at over $10,000.

The raid was not meager in its sweep of weaponry, too, as 11 firearms were seized among the drug stash. Law enforcement tallied two felony arrests, in conjunction with 10 misdemeanor arrests. The items detailed by authorities, as posted by FOX 2 Detroit, included 8.8 grams of fentanyl worth $880, 106.1 grams of marijuana at a value of $1,061, 93.2 grams of cocaine priced at $7,456, and 117 pills estimated to bring $1,170 on the streets.
