There’s an unassuming restaurant tucked away in a shopping center in South Lyon that is quietly the home base for a catering empire spanning over 3 decades. For 32 years, Aleko’s has been dishing out their famous breadsticks, subs, and other casual Italian-American fare at the center of countless parties and events for Michanganders all over the state.
Founded by Mark Savedes and named after his late father, Alekos, the business was born out of love, tradition, and a deep sense of purpose. “I wanted to honor him by using his name so his memory would live on,” Mark shares. That same memory inspires everything about the restaurant today, from its mission of giving back to its reputation for feeding more than just appetites.
