PONTIAC — Malik Ali Smith, 21, has been sentenced to prison time after assaulting an 80-year-old man at the Farmington Hills YMCA last year.
Oakland County Circuit Court Judge Victoria Valentine sentenced Smith on May 27 to a minimum of 23 months in prison and a maximum time behind bars of 10 years.
