4Warn Weather – We started the weekend with plenty of cloud cover, which broke into some sunshine working into Saturday afternoon, and expect that sunshine to continue into the end of the weekend, and temperatures will get warmer as well!
High pressure builds into the forecast, looking ahead into the end of the weekend on Sunday, this means expect plenty of sunshine, and warmer temperatures into the afternoon as well. High temperatures heading into the 70s by the time we get to Sunday afternoon.
Into the overnight hours tonight, the Space Weather Prediction Center has issued a “G4” Geomagnetic Storm Watch due to some CME (coronal mass ejections) that took place on the surface of the sun earlier this week. This means, overnight tonight, we stand a very good chance to see the Northern Lights with the naked eye across not only the State of Michigan, but the northern half of the United States…
