Michigan Authorities Searching for Two Missing Teens

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and the Michigan State Police Missing Persons Coordination Unit maintain an active list of children who have gone missing in Michigan. These cases range from children who voluntarily left home to those who vanished under mysterious circumstances.

How Many Children Go Missing Each Year?

Every single year, here in the United States, roughly 460,000 children are reported missing, according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s National Crime Information Center. With that being said, around 29,568 missing children cases were solved here in the state of Michigan in 2024, with the help of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. That is roughly a 91% recovery rate.

Last month, two children were reported missing here in the state of Michigan. Authorities are asking for your help in locating these missing kids.

Authorities are asking that if you have any information on the following, you contact the Michigan State Police, Missing Persons Unit, at 855-642-4847. You can also submit tips online to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children here, or call 800-THE-LOST.

You can also submit tips to your local police department if you have any additional information.
