A woman from Royal Oak, Michigan, is facing first-degree murder charges after her mother died from a life-threatening neck wound. The incident occurred on June 4, when police were called to an apartment on Crooks Road after a report of a daughter in the midst of a mental health crisis. Leslie Ann Cataldo, 66, made the distress call concerning her 45-year-old daughter, as reported by CBS News Detroit.
Upon their arrival, Royal Oak police found signs of a struggle and Leslie Cataldo unresponsive on the floor. She was taken to Corewell Beaumont Hospital, where she later died from her injuries, as noted by Macomb Daily.
