Fromer Troy police captain Andrew Satterfield was appointed as Sterling Heights Police Department’s chief, according to an announcement posted on the Sterling Heights city website Friday.
City Manager Mark Vanderpool has appointed Satterfield effective July 14, 2025. The appointment is subject to Sterling Heights City Council confirmation on July 1.
