LANSING, Mich. — Gov. Gretchen Whitmer has ordered flags to half-staff on Tuesday to honor former Michigan lawmaker Irma Clark-Coleman, who died on June 10.
Clark-Coleman was born in Georgia in 1937 before her family relocated to Detroit. She graduated from Pershing High School and got her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Wayne State University.
