DETROIT – A Detroit homeowner says she spent four days trapped inside her east side home after a massive branch from a city-owned tree crashed onto her front porch during a June 18 storm, blocking her only exit.
Even after she says she made several calls to City Hall and the police department, homeowner Rosemary Mitchell says no one from the city came to remove the tree.
After four days with no response, she says she finally paid hundreds of dollars out of pocket to have workers remove the fallen branch…
