Gov. Whitmer set to release details on medical debt relief for over 200,000 Michiganders

DETROIT — Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer and Lt. Governor Garlin Gilchrist will be in Detroit Thursday to unveil a plan they claim will help nearly 210,000 Michiganders with their medical debts.

Whitmer and Gilchrist will be joined by local officials and the nonprofit Undue Medical Debt to make an announcement that will provide over $144 million in medical debt relief for Michiganders.
