DETROIT (WWJ) – A Detroit man has been charged after a teenager was shot with an unsecured gun earlier this week.
It happened July 14 at a home along Kercheval near McClellan on the city’s east side. Police say 26-year-old Geris Edward Gordon’s 18-year-old brother was with a 13-year-old neighbor, when they found the weapon.
The boy was handling the gun when it discharged — shooting Gordon’s brother in the wrist. He was privately transported to a local hospital for treatment…
