Two arrested in connection to shots fired at Guardian Building in downtown Detroit

DETROIT (WWJ) Two people were arrested in connection to shots fired at the window of the Guardian Building in downtown Detroit over the weekend.

Detroit Police told WWJ they received a call about the shooting from security at the Guardian Building, on Grisworld near Larned,  on Saturday, July 19, around 5 a.m.

Authorities said two suspects were taken into custody “in the area,” shortly after the shooting. They confirmed the vehicle matched the description of the car involved in Friday’s shooting at the Coleman A. Young Municipal Center just around the corner…
