ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. – A 4-year-old girl might have permanent injuries after an Oakland County mother lied about her broken bones, police said.
Girl taken to hospital with broken bones
A 4-year-old girl was brought to the hospital on Dec. 21, 2024, with a broken left leg and a broken right arm, according to the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office.
Doctors said the two broken bones were in different stages of healing.
The girl’s mother, Kimberly Ann McGarry, told doctors that her daughter had fallen down the stairs two weeks prior at their home in the 46000 block of Dequindre Road in Rochester Hills.
