A fundraiser through GoFundMe is underway for the family of a Warren mother who was run over and killed while holding her infant daughter outside an Oakland County business on Sunday.
Samantha Skinner, 29, of Warren was pronounced dead outside Alex’s Market and Grill in Holly Township around 6:30 p.m. on July 27. Her 1-year-old daughter, who Skinner had been holding when she was struck, suffered injuries that weren’t life-threatening, authorities said.
The driver of the truck that hit her, a 72-year-old Carleton man, was arrested at the scene and suspected of being impaired by narcotics at the time of the incident, officials said. There’s been no information released yet on criminal charges…
