JACKSON, Mich. (WILX) – Over 60 animals were recovered from a home in River Rouge, almost all of which were small-breed dogs.
The seizure was confirmed by the Jackson County Animal Shelter and Animal Control on social media Friday afternoon.
Officials say 61 small dogs and one cat were removed from the property. 58 dogs and the cat were taken back to the shelter.
