DETROIT, MICHIGAN — Three men have been charged in the fatal shooting of 6-year-old Rylee Love, who was struck and killed by a stray bullet while playing inside his Detroit home last month.
Prosecutor Announces Charges
Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy announced charges against Demontrel Benard Wilson, 30, Deonate Cornealous Cherry, 28, and Terrance Jaland Blue, 28, all of Detroit.
According to investigators, the suspects opened fire from a vehicle near the intersection of Anglin Street and Stender Avenue on July 27. Bullets pierced a home on Anglin Street, fatally striking Rylee in the head while he was inside a bedroom.
Multiple Felony Counts Filed
All three men face charges of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, first-degree murder, conspiracy to discharge firearms from a vehicle causing death, and weapons-discharge causing death.
