2 taken to hospital after ‘preventable’ crash shuts down I-94 on Labor Day, drunk driving suspected

DETROIT (WWJ) — Michigan State Police say drunken driving is suspected in a crash that shut down I-94 in Detroit, early in the morning on Labor Day.

Shortly before 3 a.m. on Sept. 1, police said calls came in about a crash along eastbound I-94 near Barret Street.
