Celebrating classic cars at a classic site. “Cars at the Station” connects Motor City’s past and future

DETROIT (WWJ)–For the second year, car enthusiasts will gather at Michigan Central Station in a celebration of classic vehicles. Cars at the Station will run Friday and Saturday, September 19th and 20th.

“We’re absolutely thrilled to come back for a second year at Michigan Central,” says event organizer Jiyan Cadiz.  “It provides us one of the best backdrops that any car event in the country could have.  It’s the future of mobility with the heritage of Detroit.”

Cadiz says more than a thousand vehicles have already registered for the event.  It will run 4-9 PM on Friday and Saturday from 9 AM to 4 PM, and will also include music, technology, ride and drives and other amenities.   But the focus will be on the variety of vehicles…
