Wyandotte resident Peyton Richards, like many other 10-year-old girls, loves to dance. However, unlike any other 10-year-old girl in the state of Michigan, Richards won the National American Miss Michigan Preteen Queen 2025 title.
Richards won her title through an interview with a panel of judges and her community service. Richards volunteers at the Wyandotte VFW Post 1136 by serving food to veterans there.
“I like meeting them. I really like helping them for what they did for us,” she said.
Richards received a postcard in the mail inviting her to be a state finalist in the pageant. She competed in the competition last year, but didn’t win and was invited to come back this year…
