Officers seized more than 1,900 pounds of cocaine and methamphetamine during outbound inspections at the Detroit and Port Huron ports of entry last Thursday, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection. The operation, conducted with Homeland Security Investigations, resulted in two major cases under federal investigation.
The seizures included roughly 1,047 pounds of cocaine and 937 pounds of methamphetamine, CBP reported.
