GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A New York man has been sentenced to 366 days in prison for threatening Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel.
Jerome Gorgon Jr., the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Michigan, announced the sentencing this week. Court documents show the threat is connected to the murder of Samantha Woll in Detroit.

Woll was stabbed to death outside of her home on Oct. 21, 2023. Later that day, after the news broke, Nessel posted a picture showing her and Woll together on social media to “express her grief and shock about the murder.”
The next day, Kevin Delgado, a 40-year-old man from Bayside, New York, posted a threatening reply to the post. Last May, he pleaded guilty to one count of transmitting threats in interstate commerce and admitted that he threatened Nessel because of Nessel’s sexual orientation and religion.
