Downriver resident charged in alleged Medicaid fraud, transportation scheme

A 55-year-old Downriver woman is facing federal charges in connection with an alleged Medicaid fraud transportation scheme.

Wanda Rose Spivey, of Taylor, was arraigned on Oct. 6 before Judge Molly Hennessey Greenwalt in the 54B District Court for allegedly defrauding the Medicaid transportation program and faces five counts of Medicaid fraud — false claim.
