DEARBORN, MI — Self-described MAGA loyalist Mellissa Carone, known online as “MAGA Mama,” is facing intense backlash after posting multiple anti-Muslim TikToks complaining about the number of mosques in Michigan — specifically in the city of Dearborn, home to one of the largest Muslim communities in the U.S.
The videos, widely shared on social media, show Carone standing outside the Islamic Center of America, the largest mosque in the country, ranting about its size and the daily call to prayer, calling it “un-American.”
But instead of rallying support, her comments were met with widespread mockery and reminders that Dearborn’s Muslim presence predates MAGA by decades.
