LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A Southfield woman accused of filing multiple fraudulent applications for pandemic rental assistance was bound over Thursday to stand trial in Ingham County Circuit Court.
Mariah Davis, 33, waived her preliminary examination and will face charges in the 30th Circuit Court related to the COVID Emergency Rental Assistance (CERA) program, Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel’s office announced.
Davis was charged in July with one count of false pretenses $50,000 or more but less than $100,000, a 15-year felony; and one count of using a computer to commit a crime, a 10-year felony.
