A Downriver man arrested for threats made against a No Kings protest

MONROE (WWJ) – A Downriver man is in custody after allegedly making threats toward last weekend’s “No Kings” protest in downtown Monroe.

The Monroe Public Safety department said protest organizers alerted police about threatening statements made against them and protestors on Saturday (Oct. 18).

Officers said they immediately identified several concerning messages posted by one person who directed the threats against rally participants…
