TAYLOR, MICHIGAN — A shopping trip at the Southland Center mall turned violent when a woman allegedly pulled a kitchen knife and stabbed a teenage shopper inside Kids Foot Locker after an argument over her declined credit card, police said.
According to WJBK Fox 2 Detroit, the 40-year-old suspect was at the store with her children when someone behind her in line allegedly mocked her, calling her a “broke b—.” Enraged, she allegedly lashed out and stabbed 19-year-old Suniya Jenkins multiple times.
Witness Says Fight Escalated Over Insult
Jenkins told reporters she was near the register when the chaos began. She said she didn’t make the insulting remark but stepped into the store after hearing shouting.
“I think it was unfair to me to get stabbed,” Jenkins said. “To start, I was stabbed four times and I have a punctured lung right now.”…
