Nearly 170 DTW flights cancelled over weekend, more than 90 cancelled Monday

ROMULUS, MI — Around 90 flights at Detroit Metropolitan Airport were cancelled Monday as the federal government shutdown impacting air traffic controllers continues.

As of noon Nov. 10, 39 flights departing from the Detroit-area airport were cancelled, according to data from FlightAware. Another 52 set to land at the airport were also cancelled.

The airport is also experiencing numerous delays, with around 130 flights delayed Monday…
