KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — The Knoxville Police Department has released the name of the suspect who has been charged and indicted in connection to the shooting on I-640 earlier this month that left two men dead and another man critically injured.
KPD released that Dashonn Moten, 27, of Detroit, was indicted last week on 17 counts, including first-degree murder and felony murder in connection to the shooting on I-640 that killed Troy Hutchison, 33, and Rodrell Jeter, 25, on Sunday, November 16. A 22-year-old man was also critically injured in the shooting.

The department explained that Moten has no prior criminal history in Knox County and that Moten is believed to be in the Detroit area, where efforts to find him remain ongoing. The Knoxville Police Department also shared that it has requested assistance from the U.S. Marshals Service to locate and apprehend Moten.
