TAYLOR — A 28-year-old Detroit man who hit a light pole and a traffic sign the night of Oct. 31 on Telegraph Road near Wick Road before leaving the scene was arrested after police officers followed a vehicle fluid trail to his hiding spot in an alley south of Mary Street.
The fluid trail led to a gray 2014 Ford Escape with heavy body damage and the apparent driver standing near the vehicle.
The man, who resisted police officer instructions, was handcuffed and placed in the back of a patrol vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed an open bottle of tequila on the front passenger seat…
