Detroit Police Seek Suspects in Late-Night Robbery of Restaurant Employee on Livernois

The Detroit Police Department is on the hunt for two suspects involved in the robbery of a Detroit restaurant employee, per reports from ClickOnDetroit and CBS Detroit. The incident took place on June 28 at around 11 p.m. in the 14300 block of Livernois, where a 38-year-old restaurant employee engaged in the mundane task of trash disposal when two armed men approached him, and with the gravity of cold metal, announced a robbery, per reports from ClickOnDetroit and CBS News Detroit.

The suspects proceeded to enter the restaurant, and in line with the narrative provided by the authorities, to both media outlets, they stole an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register – this while two additional employees were inside but interestingly and fortunately, no injuries resulted from the harrowing ordeal, the police say the suspects fled the scene on foot, leaving the employees shaken but physically unharmed, according to both reports the Detroit Police Department urging those with any slice of knowledge or eyewitness account to come forward with information that might light the way to justice…
