MACOMB COUNTY, Mich. – A new charge has been filed against the woman connected to the attempted murder of a Macomb County businessman, her employer for more than 22 years.
On Tuesday, Dec. 9, the Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office announced that a charge of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder was added against Dawn Huffman. She was previously charged with embezzlement and conspiracy to commit embezzlement.
Jasan Martin, 32, of Eastpointe, Rachard Huffman, 39, and Dawn Huffman, 44, both from Sterling Heights, were charged in connection with the attempted murder of Eddie Jawad. He owns several gas stations in Metro Detroit, was targeted outside of his Macomb Township home on Oct. 14, 2025…
