Man charged in string of Metro Detroit home invasions again

ST CLAIR COUNTY, Mich. – A 32-year-old Redford Township man is accused of a string of home invasions across Metro Detroit — and it’s not his first time.

According to authorities, the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office had five reported home invasions between Nov. 28 and Dec. 3. The suspect, described as an unknown delivery driver, allegedly broke into homes while on his delivery route.

Deonte King was arrested on Dec. 6 after authorities received reports of a sixth and seventh break-in. He reportedly was found not far from the home, driving a white box truck that matched the suspect vehicle…
