DETROIT – A Detroit man was arrested after fleeing a traffic stop, where police found three pistols inside his car.
At 7:10 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 15, 2025, a trooper initiated a traffic stop on the 29-year-old driver’s car in the Captain Jay’s Fish and Chicken parking lot on 7 Mile in Detroit.
The driver was asked to exit his car for a consent search, and when the trooper began the search, the driver ran away down 7 Mile and then down Strathmoor Street, according to Michigan State Police…
