Man accused of robbing Troy gas station with rifle bound over for circuit court

TROY, Mich. – A 38-year-old accused of robbing an Oakland County gas station with a large rifle has been bound over for circuit court.

According to authorities, the armed robbery happened just before 2:30 a.m. Oct. 30, at a Shell Gas Station in Troy, near the intersection of Rochester Road and South Boulevard.

Police said the man entered the gas station with what appeared to be an AK-47, pointed it at the clerk and demanded money. After being given cash, he ran off…
