4Warn Weather – The National Weather Service in Detroit has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for all of Southeast Michigan that will begin at midnight tonight (Sunday) and be in effect until 10 a.m. Tuesday. The advisory is for a combination of winter weather hazards including cold temperatures, frigid wind chills, gusty winds, and snow.
SUNDAY NIGHT: Mostly cloudy. Snow develops in the evening hours with 1-3″ of snow accumulation expected overnight. Low: 15°, wind chill around O° to 5°.
MONDAY (MLK JR DAY): Mostly cloudy skies with scattered snow showers. Snow squalls are possible, so if you have a commute you may need to budget extra time. Additional snow accumulation is possible.
