Farmington Hills woman convicted of fraudulently obtaining over $34K in federal COVID loans

OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. – Tiesha Johnson, 57, formerly of Farmington Hills, was sentenced to seven months in the Oakland County Jail.

Johnson was sentenced on Wednesday (Jan. 28), which includes credit for 18 days already served.

She pleaded no contest to three counts of false pretenses involving amounts between $1,000 and $20,000, related to fraudulently obtaining Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans and an Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) from the federal government…
