A new concept looks to be opening on Ford Road near the intersection of Telegraph Road.
From their social media, Mashawi House is coming to 24400 Ford Road in Dearborn Heights sometime this year. This is expected to serve Middle Eastern cuisine for the area. Co-owner Taha Shawakha did not want to give an opening date yet.
A menu hasn’t been made public yet, but from the name it could serve meats like beef, chicken and lamb with vegetables cooked over an open coal fire. Their kitchen will have a charcoal grill, according to a recent Instagram post.
