Michigan State Police officer taken to hospital after vehicle hit while parked

(WWJ) Michigan State Police are reminding drivers to watch out for emergency vehicles, after an officer was rear-ended on the job.

A Motor Carrier officer was on the scene of a one car crash on eastbound I-96 at MLK Jr. Boulevard at 11:15 a.m. Monday to help with traffic control.

That’s when police said a Ford Focus, being driven by a 22-year-old man from Dearborn, hit the back of the Motor Carrier officer’s vehicle…
