A woman in Detroit needs a refund from a dealership. However, after secretly adding $3,500 to her bill in hidden fees, the business suddenly closed. Apparently, other drivers have been scammed by the same company.

64-year-old Penny Walsh is stuck with an extra $3,500 on her auto loan. She was down with her 17-year-old car and went to Wixom Motors for a new vehicle.

After five hours of test drives, she settled on a Kia Soul. The dealership handed her keys but didn’t provide paperwork. She returned later to get the documents and noticed that they added a $3,445 warranty and insurance policy she didn’t want.

Walsh acknowledged verbally denying the policy, but she signed the paperwork. She made calls and sent emails to try and get a refund and didn’t hear anything for weeks. However, she finally got an email claiming the money would be refunded…
