DETROIT – Jevonte Cassidy Doakes, 33, of Detroit, was sentenced to 110 months in federal prison for shooting into his ex-girlfriend’s home in May 2024 while his own child was inside.
In May 2024, Doakes fired 24 shots into his ex-girlfriend’s home, where she and her family, including his 6-year-old daughter, were sleeping.
