A Michigan mother says her 11-year-old son was fatally struck by a car while out buying snacks at a nearby store.
The Taylor Police Department said in a statement that they received an emergency call around 6:37 p.m. local time on Tuesday, Feb. 10, about a child who was hit by a vehicle in the vicinity of Pond Village Drive and Eureka Road.
When they arrived, officers administered life-saving measures, but the 11-year-old boy succumbed to his injuries shortly after being transported to a local hospital…
