The Forman Mills store on Eight Mile near Van Dyke is closing its doors today, ending nearly two decades of business in the city.
The store, located at 10000 E. Eight Mile Road in the Bel Air Center, opened in 2006 and was the first Forman Mills location in Michigan. Over the years, it became a familiar discount shopping spot for many families.
