A Detroit woman is speaking out after she was stabbed and held hostage by a man she met on Facebook Dating. According to WXYZ, 27-year-old Jakayla Archie says her casual relationship turned violent in January. What began as conversations through Facebook Dating ended with her fighting for her life.
Archie said she matched with 31-year-old Donneal Darren Sandridge-Jones weeks before the attack. At first, everything appeared normal. They talked during the holidays. They met in person. They watched movies at his house. They spent time together casually. However, things shifted during their last encounter. She said he became irritated. Then he became aggressive. What happened next nearly cost her life.
“That’s when he ran, and he went to get the knife, and he stabbed me in my throat, and he cut me, and then he told me, ‘b****, I’ll kill you,’” she explained to the outlet.
