Father charged after 6-year-old daughter finds unsecured gun, shoots herself multiple times in Detroit

DETROIT – Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy charged Marcellis Dushaun Williams, 39, of Detroit, in connection with the non-fatal shooting of his 6-year-old daughter.

Police said officers were dispatched about 9 a.m. on Sunday, March 1, to a home in the 8800 block of Artesian Street for a reported shooting.
